Get ready for a fun-filled, family-friendly event like no other! Join us for the LatinoLEAD Health & Wellness Fútbol Tournament & MNUFC Takeover 2024 on Sunday, June 30th at the NSC in Blaine, MN. This exciting day is designed to support LatinoLEAD's Board of Directors fundraising efforts while creating a vibrant space for the Latine community to come together. We invite the LatinoLEAD Network at-large, Latine leaders in Employee Resource Groups (ERG) and Diversity Equity and Inclusion staff members to form fantastic soccer teams and compete for the first-ever LatinoLEAD Take Over Trophy!
The family friendly event kicks off at 8:00 am and runs until 2:00 pm at the NSC Stadium in Blaine, MN. Co-ed teams can register for $1,000, which includes 10 tickets to the MNUFC Vs Necaxa match—so bring your family and friends! Enjoy exclusive LatinoLEAD and MNUFC swag. With 7 to 10 players per team, the games promise 30 minutes (15 minute halves) of exciting 7v7 action with goalkeepers.
For the co-ed teams that are excited to join the fun, but may have registered too late– do not worry! Your team will be placed on a “Spectator List” to cover an incomplete or absent team altogether on the day of the event. With that said, please do not wait too long before your team captains sign your fútbol team up for this fun-loving community event! Once fully paid and registered, the NSC and LatinoLEAD team will reach out to you to gather further information about your team regarding your participation, safety and press release waivers.
While everyone on the team must be 18+, LatinoLEAD would love to see your cheerful familias and friends cheer you on at this community event! Not only that, but we are also invited to BYOF (Bring-Your-Own-Food) and have a picnic-style lunch with us while we have a blast. For those of you that prefer to stay on the sidelines, you are welcome to bring lawn games and share community in a tailgate fashion with LatinoLEAD.
Enjoy booth activations featuring Health and Wellness tables, a dedicated LatinoLEAD table, and another for MNUFC ticket sales. It's a family-friendly event packed with fun and excitement for everyone!
